"Project started with hydraulic hammer. V shaped excavation had to be implemented to allow hammer operation. Rockwheel ensured exact profile was met plus excavated material could be used as backfill. The unit was also much quieter than the hydraulic hammer. Overall the Rockwheel was quicker and saved money."
Hydraulic Checks for Daewoo 220 LC - 17/02/2005 based on Poclain MSE 18-2 Motor (2,812 ccm/rev). Main Relief set at 320 bar.
Feed line throttled to evaluate pressure. Additional 10 bar added to results to account for losses through couplings and hoses in pressure line up to restrictor. Inlet pressure measured 41 bar at 146 lpm, outlet pressure 16 bar. Losses across unit therefore 25 bar.
